Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my pump needs to be repaired or replaced?
We start with an on-site assessment of the pump and the well it’s drawing from. That tells us whether a repair will hold or whether the pump has reached the end of its service life, before we recommend spending money either way.
Do you install solar well pumps?
Yes. We install solar pump systems as well as conventional ones, and we can walk you through the maintenance each type needs so you know what you’re taking on.
What’s included in pump maintenance?
Routine maintenance covers checking pump performance, pressure, and wear on the system so small problems get caught before they turn into a well that stops producing water.
Are you licensed for the plumbing and electrical work a pump system needs?
Yes. Evans Well Drilling holds well driller licenses in Idaho (#851) and Utah (#927), plus a plumbing contractor license (#74990) and an electrical contractor license (#076127). That means one crew can handle the well, the pump, and the controls instead of you coordinating three separate contractors.
What’s the warranty on a new pump?
We pass through the manufacturer’s warranty on pumps and pressure tanks, and we stand behind our own labor if an issue traces back to our installation. Warranty terms vary by equipment, so ask us for the specifics on your system before you buy.
